Jim Evans is Broker and Owner of CORE Real Estate, LLC in Franklin, TN. Jim is a licensed Real Estate Broker, State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, and Master Auctioneer in the State of Tennessee. Prior to forming his own real estate brokerage in 2014, Jim served as Senior Vice President for Capital Bank N.A. from 2003 until 2014. In 1999, Jim sold his real estate appraisal firm and was one of the founding employees of the Community First Bank and Trust in Columbia, TN where he served as Vice President of Real Estate for the bank. Jim has always believed in serving the communities that he lives. From 1995 until 2003, Jim served on the Maury County Legislative Body as a member and Chairman. Additionally he was a founding member of the Maury Alliance which served as the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development agency for Maury County. Jim was a founding Board Member where he served as Chairman of the Economic Development Committee for several years. In recent years, Jim Evans has served on the Middle Tennessee Board of the Better Business Bureau and a member of the Maury County Jail Ministry Board. In 2015, he was added to the One Generation Board of Directors where he has served as Chairman over the past two years. Jim Evans is married to his wife of 30 years, Donna and they have two adult children, Mary Mattison and Miles.
Richard Algood is a Certified Public Accountant and has over 30 years experience in healthcare finance and development. He has worked with hospitals and health systems across the country specializing in reimbursement, regulatory affairs and healthcare operations finance. Mr. Algood has served in senior management positions for the nation’s largest healthcare companies including HCA, Quorum, Kindred, IASIS, and RegionalCare. He has also operated a successful consulting practice assisting several early stage healthcare services companies.
Mr. Algood holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama with a major in Accounting, and has served on the boards of Hands on Nashville (treasurer), McNeilly Center for Children (Finance Committee), and One Gen Away (Vice Chair). He is married to Amy Ellison Algood, and has a daughter Amelia (13) and son Braxton (12).
Lauren Briley Robinson
Lauren was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She attended David Lipscomb from 1st to 12th grade and went on to attend Lipscomb University for undergraduate and graduate school. At Lipscomb, Lauren earned a B.S. in Accounting & Management and a Masters in Accounting.
While at Lipscomb University, Lauren met Cameron Robinson who would become her husband in April, 2007. Cameron is now the Branch Manager at Renasant Bank in Nashville, TN. They had a daughter, Jayda, in October, 2008, a son, Jackson, in December 2012, and another daughter, Chloe, in April of 2015.
Lauren holds the position of Accounting Manager for Pro Management Inc. She provides many of our small business clients with the accounting services they need to grow their business. She assists in preparing financial statements, tax planning, cash flow management, forecasting, and facilitating payroll. Lauren meets with our clients to present these tools and discuss a plan for their business.
Richard Rice is the owner of Richard A. Rice & Company, a commercial real estate development and management company. The company, founded in 1989, has developed retail neighborhood shopping centers in Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Kentucky. Prior to founding his present company Richard worked for several real estate development companies and was in commercial banking early in his career. In addition to his real estate ventures, Richard continues to manage the business activities of Rice Family Farms, a working Alabama farming operation which has been in the Rice family for almost 75 years. Richard earned a BS degree from Auburn University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. He is a past member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a commercial real estate broker in Tennessee.
Richard has served on the One Gen board since 2015. In addition he has served on the Alumni Council at Vanderbilt University’s Owen School where he represented his class from 2010 until 2016. He is an active member of Church of the City where he has led and continues to lead small groups and serves as the leader for the Host Team at the Sylvan Park location.
Richard is married to Marcia. He has two daughters and six grandchildren. He is an avid bird hunter, tennis player, and scuba diver, and loves to travel, especially trips with his extended family.
Jim Lusher joined the Nashville office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in June of 2016. As an Associate Director with MMCC, Mr. Lusher is responsible for securing commercial debt financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. He is well connected with national, regional and local funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (E.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds and hard money lenders.
Jim lives in Brentwood, TN and has been a member of Holy Family Catholic Church for 22 years where he has had several positions of leadership within the church. He has taught in the children’s religious eduation program for 12 years. He attended the Univeristy of Louisville College of Business and achieved a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administartion with a concentration in Finance. Jim has two sons whom he enjoys golfing and boating with. He has been a member of the OneGenAway Board of Directors since 2015.
Jenn Morrison retired in 2016 as a Director at Deloitte Tax following a 21year career as a tax attorney and strategist. During her career she served many Fortune 100 corporate clients as well as led strategy development and implementation for several business units at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte Tax.
It is apparent from how Jenn has invested her time over the years that she has a passion for work that has meaningful impact on intergenerational poverty. She served as the Treasurer, Chairman of the Finance Committee and two terms as the Chairman of the Board for the Martha O’Bryan Center as well as the Finance Chairman and school board member of East End Preparatory School in East Nashville. Today, in addition to serving on the board of One Generation Away and 1Team1Goal, Jenn is the CEO of The N.O.O.K. (Needs of Our Kids), a 501(c)3 that serves our community schools that she created while serving as the President of the Franklin Special School District Executive PTO. She is also an active Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the Williamson County Juvenile Court.
She and her husband, Craig Morrison have been married 21 years and they have three sons, Marshall (18), Mitchell (16) and Dennis (12).
Taylor McClain Meek
Taylor Meek joined Saint Thomas Health in 2015. She has worked in the health care industry for 7 years in consulting and leadership roles. Taylor has a double master’s degree in Health Administration and Business Administration. She and her husband, Daniel, are very involved in the community and enjoy service opportunities, staying active, and spoiling their dog, Nix.

Mike is co-owner of The Water Store of Franklin where he educates on the value of living a healthy life style and provides healthy, alkaline water and nutritional supplements. Prior to The Water Store, Mike was co-owner of Interactive Play Structures, LLC., a playground company specializing in educational based interactive play elements for museums, hospitals and churches.
Mike and his wife, Cindy, live in Columbia, Tennessee, where they are active in men’s and women’s ministries, home Bible studies and other opportunities for service at Thompson Station Church – Columbia Campus. They have two children and 3 grand children.
