Come celebrate One Generation Away’s movement to wipe hunger off the face of America!

This free breakfast event will support our nonprofit as we rescue surplus food from grocery stores, restaurants, and caterers and distribute it to our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Our founder and executive director Chris Whitney and our Alabama manager Daelyn Houser will share about our expansion into Alabama over the past couple years.

Come to the table, and join the movement!

Speakers

Dale Strong is the current chairman of the Madison County Commission and is running for Congress in Alabama's 5th congressional district.

Dale Strong
Keynote Speaker

Dale Strong is the current chairman of the Madison County Board of Commissioners. He is also running for Congress in Alabama’s 5th congressional district.

Dale was first elected to the county commission in 1996 and has helped lead the Madison County community through trying times, including the 2011 super tornado outbreak. He has played a major role in ushering One Generation Away into the Northern Alabama region, where our nonprofit has been able to distribute over 1 million pounds of food over the past four years.

With support from people like Dale, we hope to see One Generation Away’s capacity to serve Alabama grow exponentially.
